Sierra Space team members share a spirit of innovation and collaboration and a belief that we can deliver on the boldest missions in space today. Together with our customers, we aim to safeguard our nation, sustain human presence in space, and secure the freedom of operations in low Earth orbit and beyond.

Our success is measured by the trust of those who rely on what we build and deliver, and our technologies keep the United States and its allies mission-ready throughout space.

We are mission-driven, and together, we are an extraordinary team.

About The Role As a Master Scheduler at Sierra Space, you'll play a critical role working cross-functionally to develop and balance manufacturing plans across several factories. You'll collaborate with Engineering, Program Management, Production, and Supply Chain to translate ambitious program objectives into executable production schedules.

You'll develop, triage, maintain, and present manufacturing plans that support our bold mission in space technology. We're looking for individuals with a bias for action and extreme ownership who thrive in a dynamic environment where your decisions directly impact our ability to reach the stars and deliver critical national defense capabilities.

About You Our mission is driven by an unyielding commitment to advancing space-based technology in service of our customers and safeguarding national security. We seek individuals who are passionate about innovating beyond boundaries and relentlessly pursuing solutions that protect, preserve and empower – to join us in this critical mission.

  • Higher-level degrees may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • Experience working in engineering-driven manufacturing environments
  • Strong understanding of MRP Systems
  • Strong Data Analytics skills
  • Skilled at distilling and presenting large amounts of data in a clear and concise manner

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using SQL, Python, R
  • APICS Certification(s)
  • Someone who is well organized, a fast learner, someone who takes initiative
  • Ability to work with limited supervision to develop and manage production plans and schedules.
  • Understanding of a product development process in an engineering environment and the transition to production process in a business environment.
  • Analytical and organizational skills, able to be diplomatically persuasive or assertive when necessary.

Compensation:

Pay Range:

$142,911.00 - $196,523.25

Your actual base compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, experience, internal equity and market competitiveness.
