Job description

• Order the materials through the mechanisms established for this purpose by the company.
• Maintain the system of planning and ordering parts, depending on their place of origin.
• Monitor the consumption/stock levels of components in the warehouse
• Anticipating changes in requirements not yet identified in our system
• Verify the registration of new part numbers at program startup and/or new model; establish the necessary parameters for their ordering
• Ensure the ramp-up of new programs, engineer change, procuring the necessary inventory for said ramp-up, in accordance with the company's inventory policies.
• Prepare the ordering system to cover materials with the minimum obsolescence at the end of programs (build out).
• Provide information to the Production Planner / Production Control to prevent production line stoppages
• Expedite materials that are detected as delayed in arrival and/or lost in inventory, in order to maintain minimum and/or production requirements, avoiding disruptions to production lines and/or shipments to customers
• Monitor the costs of expedited services performed.
• Communicate with the contacts, buyers and/or responsible parties defined in the organization to receive the ordered materials, where applicable.
• Generate monthly report of material in transit (inter-company and third-party), when applicable.
• Notify Quality personnel when the supplier reports defective/rejected material in transit, reviewing the impact on the order.
• Constant communication with the Engineering / Quality / Production departments during the implementation of engineering changes or defective material.
• Confirm that the Planners generate Delivery Incident Reports where applicable and communicate to the Supplier Quality area the quantity generated monthly, according to the established times and formats.

Profile:

• Bachelor's degree or engineering degree.
• Labor experience required in areas related to materials and logistics
• Advanced English
