Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Integration

Integrate Printed Circuit Boards into an actuation system, including specification of thermal paste and conformal coating

Integrate press-fit components into a Printed Circuit Board Assembly

Analyze PCBs, ICs, and press-fit components for mechanical failure modes (deflection, temperature, contamination, humidity)

Perform 3D modeling and generate drawings of components and assemblies

Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Coordinate validation efforts with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers

Develop and execute design verification plans and reports (DVP&R)

Lead and maintain design failure mode and effects analyses (DFMEAs)

Prototype and iterate designs to validate functionality

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field and 3+ years of experience, OR

Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field and 1+ years of experience.

First principles approach to problem solving

PCB Integration experience (mechanical, thermal)

Deep understanding of Printed Circuit Board and IC mechanical failure modes

Proficient in 3D/2D CAD (Catia V5/V6 preferred)

Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis

Familiarity with PLM systems, BOM structuring, engineering changes, and deviation processes
