Job Summary

AspiringIT is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a leading nuclear engineering services client supporting Ontario's CANDU fleet.

What you'll do

• Lead mechanical design and engineering change packages for station systems and components

• Work on pressure-boundary equipment: piping, valves, pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels

• Prepare specifications, design calculations and stress/qualification reviews

• Support fabrication, field installation and site issue resolution

• Mentor and verify the work of junior engineers

What you bring

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering

• 6+ years of experience, ideally in nuclear or power generation

• P.Eng (PEO)

• CANDU design and engineering change experience

• Working knowledge of CSA N285.0, ASME Section III and CSA N286

• CAD/FEA tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, ANSYS)

Nice to have

• Ontario refurbishment project experience

• CSA N299 supplier quality

• Welding and NDE knowledge

Must be eligible for nuclear site security clearance and export-control requirement
