Sr. Mechanical Maintenance Manager

As the Mechanical Maintenance Manager , you will be reporting to Plant Head and responsible for ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment, machinery, Utilities and systems within the manufacturing facility. Your role will involve overseeing Breakdowns, preventive / Proactive / Perdective maintenance programs, managing equipment repairs, implementing improvement initiatives, and fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.to enhance Optimal and Effective.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies and programs for mechanical equipment and systems to optimize performance, minimize downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.
Preventive Maintenance: Establish and oversee preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for critical machinery and equipment to proactively identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Troubleshooting and Repairs: Provide technical expertise and support to diagnose and resolve mechanical problems, equipment failures, and production interruptions in a timely and efficient manner.
Equipment Upgrades and Enhancements: Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, modifications, and enhancements to improve reliability, efficiency, and performance while minimizing operational costs.
Inventory Management: Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to ensure the availability of critical components and materials for maintenance and repairs.
Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage the maintenance department budget, tracking expenses, analysing costs, and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality or safety.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies related to mechanical maintenance operations, promoting a culture of safety awareness and adherence.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to coordinate maintenance activities, address operational challenges, and support overall business goals.
