Job Description

Black & Grey HR is partnering with a leading contracting and construction company to recruit a highly skilled Sr. MEP BIM Coordinator for largescale building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing MEP BIM coordination activities, ensuring clashfree models, accurate shop drawings, and smooth coordination between engineering, design, and site execution teams. The role requires strong expertise in BIM processes, MEP systems, and largescale project coordination.

Responsibilities:

Develop, manage, and coordinate MEP BIM models for largescale construction projects.

• Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues between MEP, architectural, structural, and civil disciplines.

• Review and manage MEP shop drawings, coordinated drawings, and technical submissions.

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, design teams, and project engineers to ensure project requirements are achieved.

• Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, specifications, and UAE authority requirements.

• Support project teams during design development, construction, testing, and commissioning stages.

• Monitor BIM deliverables, model updates, and coordination schedules.

• Prepare and maintain accurate BIM documentation and reports.

• Provide technical support and guidance to BIM modelers and engineering teams.

• Participate in coordination meetings and assist in resolving siterelated technical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.

• Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience in MEP BIM Coordination within contracting companies.

• Strong experience in highrise, commercial, residential, or mixeduse projects.

• Proficiency in Revit MEP, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, and related BIM software.

• Handson experience in clash detection, model coordination, and shop drawing preparation.

• Strong understanding of MEP systems, BIM standards, and construction workflows.

• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and site execution teams.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problemsolving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight deadlines.
