Sr MGA Systems Project Manager

My client is seeking a Project Manager to lead and scale the onboarding of MGA programs, acquisitions, and operating entities into its core underwriting and policy administration ecosystem, including Vertafore IMS, ImageRight, Cytora, and related platforms. This role will coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, underwriting, technology, vendors, accounting, and leadership to drive implementations from discovery through production launch.

Remote MGA Systems Project Manager

Compensation: $64-67 / Hr

Technical Requirements:

1. 10+ years of project management experience with 5+ years leading enterprise software implementations.

2. Experience within MGA, wholesale brokerage, specialty insurance, carrier operations, or insurance technology environments.

3. Understand how API calls work and their role in system-to-system integrations. The team uses custom development to build API calls that transfer data from Point A to Point B between systems.

Familiarity with configuring insurance management systems and understanding the policy lifecycle, including quoting, rating, and endorsements.

5. Experience onboarding businesses onto new systems and migrating their existing books of business. This includes standardizing data into templates, uploading data into the system’s backend, and understanding the difference between API-based integrations and backend data loads. Candidates should understand how backend processes and system-triggered workflows may differ depending on the migration method.

6. Experience using AI tools, including Microsoft Copilot, to support project planning, task management, organization, and workflow efficiency within Microsoft Planner.

7. Clearly identify and define each team member’s roles and responsibilities upfront before engaging in a project to ensure alignment, accountability, and clear ownership throughout the project lifecycle.
