Sr Mgr Pricing & Costing

The Costing & Pricing Lead will drive product costing, margin analysis, and competitive pricing strategies for the cable and wire business. The role involves developing pricing strategies in collaboration with the sales team to grow volumes while protecting business margins. It also requires close coordination with plant finance, sales, and operations to optimize profitability, enhance revenue, and maintain cost competitiveness.

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies to maximize volumes and protect business margins.
• Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and customer profitability to inform strategic pricing decisions.
• Collaborate with plant finance, sales, and operations teams to align pricing, margins, and revenue targets.
• Provide strategic insights on product portfolio profitability and margin optimization to senior management.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and revenue planning by providing pricing and margin analysis.
• Maintain alignment with corporate policies and governance while ensuring cost competitiveness across products.
• Lead initiatives to enhance distributor ROI, support volume growth, and drive business performance

Preferred candidate profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (CMA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent degree.
• 4- 8 years of experience in costing and pricing for the product, preferably in cables, wires, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting methods, variance analysis, and product costing.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Power BI).
• Attention to detail and accuracy in costing and pricing analysis.
• Ability to interpret cost data and provide actionable recommendations.
