Position - Sr. Networking Head

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose:
Responsible for managing and leading the organizations network infrastructure across campuses, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity for academic and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, and network security.
• Ensure high network availability, performance, and minimum downtime across campuses.
• Manage network monitoring, troubleshooting, capacity planning, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Oversee campus connectivity for classrooms, laboratories, hostels, libraries, smart classrooms, and administrative offices.
• Manage ISPs, technology vendors, AMC partners, and network-related projects.
• Implement network security policies, access controls, and disaster recovery measures.
• Lead and mentor the networking/IT infrastructure team.
• Maintain network documentation, SOPs, asset records, and MIS reports.
• Ensure timely resolution of network incidents as per defined SLAs and KPIs.

Qualification & Experience:
Bachelors/Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field with 10–15+ years of relevant experience. CCNA/CCNP or equivalent networking certifications preferred.
