Sr. Node js developer (6+ years)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer with 6**+ years of hands-on experience** in backend development. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, API development, databases, and scalable backend application development.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing high-performance backend applications and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies.
• Write clean, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code.
• Identify and resolve application performance and technical issues.
• Implement security, performance, and scalability best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture and design decisions.
• Troubleshoot and debug production and development issues.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving development practices.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend architecture.
• Good experience with MongoDB and/or SQL databases.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, promises, callbacks, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with Git/version control systems.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
• Candidates who can attend an in-person/FTF interview in Mohali are preferred.
• Candidates should be comfortable working from the Mohali location.

Location: Mohali, Punjab
Timing: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
