Sr. Operations Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will lead site operations across manufacturing and warehouse functions, with a strong focus on operational execution, productivity, and safety.

The Sr. Operations Manager will partner closely with plant leadership to set direction, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen day-to-day performance across the facility.

In addition, this leader will manage budgets, develop supervisory talent, and help shape long-term strategies that support efficient and reliable operations.

Location: Aberdeen, SD - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $221,591 – $270,834 annually

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations for manufacturing and warehouse departments
• Develop manufacturing strategies and operational plans
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety regulations
• Collaborate with plant leadership to drive continuous improvement
• Supervise and develop Operations Sr. Supervisors and departments
• Manage annual operating budgets and monitor performance
• Drive strategic planning to enhance factory productivity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
• Eight years of management or supervisory experience in manufacturing
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• High emotional intelligence with the ability to build rapport and lead teams
• Five years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Belt (Black Belt or Master Black Belt)
• Strong leadership abilities and understanding of Lean principles
