SR PACS and client onboarding Engineer (RamSoft/Mirth Connect)

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior PACS and Client Onboarding Engineer to support a growing radiology client. You’ll work alongside the client’s internal team and own complex technical issues and new-client onboardings. You’ll also help strengthen the team’s skills through hands-on knowledge transfer. This role suits a seasoned engineer who is as comfortable leading a client call as troubleshooting a failed interface.

What You’ll Do

• Administer and configure RamSoft PACS, including station configuration, workflow troubleshooting, DICOM scripting and resolving production issues
• Build, support and troubleshoot Mirth Connect channels, including HL7 message mapping, transformations and JavaScript
• Fix order and result interfaces, acknowledgments, queues and delivery failures
• Lead technical onboarding for new client sites, from connectivity and interface setup through testing and go-live
• Handle escalated production support while juggling several onboardings at once
• Lead technical calls with clients and vendors, explain issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders, and follow through until resolved
• Mentor internal team members and transfer knowledge through documentation and hands-on collaboration
• Maintain disciplined testing, documentation and secure handling of patient data

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level, hands-on RamSoft experience: administration, configuration, workflow troubleshooting, DICOM scripting and production support
• Expert-level Mirth Connect and HL7 experience: channel development, message mapping and transformations, JavaScript, and interface troubleshooting
• Strong client communication skills: leading technical calls, managing expectations, and following through with clients and vendors
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment: balances competing priorities, works independently and uses sound judgment
• Solid understanding of radiology workflows, including patient identifiers, accessions, orders, reports and priors

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Laurel Bridge Compass
• DICOM routing and tag troubleshooting
• Azure, VPN and network troubleshooting
• SQL and scripting skills
• Experience onboarding outside facilities to teleradiology or multi-site reading groups

Engagement Details

• Remote, with working hours aligned to the client’s time zone
• Some after-hours availability for production issues may be required

Pay: From $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
