Sr Principal Analyst, Microsoft

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Principal Analyst, Microsoft to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on software licensing optimization and enterprise contract analysis, with an emphasis on helping clients reduce cost and improve compliance across Microsoft environments. You will partner with procurement, technical stakeholders, and senior business leaders to evaluate deployment, licensing, and contractual arrangements. The position also contributes to practice development through collaboration with an international team and support for high-impact client engagements.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $105,000 – $140,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Execute contract optimization client engagements focused on enterprise software solutions
• Provide technical and analytical input to advise clients effectively
• Contribute to practice improvement by collaborating with international team members
• Analyze software deployment versus licensing to inform optimization strategies
• Develop cost reduction models and risk mitigation plans
• Present findings and recommendations to clients ranging from procurement to C-level executives

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in enterprise software licensing and contracting
• Understanding of corporate strategy and go-to-market approaches for major software vendors
• Familiarity with volume licensing programs such as EA, SCE, and CSP
• Expertise in contract management and optimization
• Strong analytical skills in software licensing and cost modeling
• Effective presentation skills for engaging clients at all levels
• Strong organizational and time management skills for tight deadlines
