Sr. Principal Scientist

Responsibilities:

• Lead in vivo pharmacology strategy and studies across China Research and global cross-functional teams.
• Develop and utilize murine and NHP models to evaluate delivery efficiency, efficacy, biodistribution, and safety of in vivo CAR-T and gene therapy platforms.
• Design, lead, and oversee internal and CRO-executed animal studies.
• Communicate program progress, risks, and recommendations to senior management and governance committees in both Chinese and English.
• Drive data-driven program decisions while balancing scientific priorities, timelines, resources, budget, and risk.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members, including hiring, goal setting, performance management, and talent development.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support IIT and IND-enabling activities.

Qualifications:

• PhD or postdoctoral training in cancer biology, immunology, gene therapy, or a related field, with 3–5 years of industry experience .
• Strong experience developing and utilizing murine and NHP models in immuno-oncology, gene therapy, and/or autoimmune disease.
• Experience with, or strong potential to lead, next-generation in vivo CAR-T programs highly preferred.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality data under tight timelines.
• Excellent scientific communication, presentation, collaboration, and leadership skills.
