Sr. Process Development Engineer (Automation)

该职位来源于猎聘 Role Purpose Main objective of the “Sr. Process Development Engineer (Automation)” is to successfully lead and coordinate process engineering activities along the core manufacturing technology automation in a transparent and substantially value-adding way on global scale.

Lead the dedicated automation projects in the nominated plant to reach the set goal of not only timeline, but also performance and budget control with the support of engineering, quality, CI, and production team together.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Technologies:

Explores, assesses and implements core and enabler technologies especially for automation aspect generating value-add for customers, and analyses processes continuously with the goal of optimization and efficiency gain in a safe and lean way, offers support for plant level initiatives and current processing challenges in the region.

• Process Development:

Focusses on technology leadership in Automation, executes development projects in a practical way and provides corporate framework and global standards for new equipment, corporates with domestic or international suppliers to develop automatic machines, installations and engineering changes, sets standards and prepares for global rollouts, leads projects on demand.

• Technology Road mapping and CAPEX Management:

Acts as an active member along the "Technology Roadmap" on a strategic and holistic scale followed by subsequent CAPEX management, ensures concept/program/spare-parts consistency, ensures availability and implementation of the latest manufacturing technologies including supplier selection and qualification.

• Knowledge transfer:

Coordinates a Subject Matter Expert platform globally and fosters know-how transfer on manufacturing technologies, scouts new technologies and circulates information, accordingly, proactively utilizes department synergies.

• QHSE:

Regularly monitors, implements and executes all relevant legal and internal regulations and instructions in the field of QHSE as a fundamental for this area of responsibility.

• Piloting:

Evaluates, builds and runs process development pilot lines to achieve and sustain technology leadership.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering (or comparable), preferably mechanical automation, mechanical engineering, electrical automation or process engineering, deep technical experience of benefit.
• At least 8 years of pertinent expertise in mechanical/electrical automation or process engineering or packaging technologies and a proven track record of project leadership and management of international projects.
• Practical experience in an Operations environment of filter components (or comparable), proactive, hand-on and action-oriented mentality and flexibility.
• Business fluent in written and spoken English, preferably second foreign language.
• Intrinsic motivation to drive process development striving for technology leadership.
• Ability to work in international, interdisciplinary and cross-cultural teams, providing technical guidance and promoting a collaborative and trustful environment.
• Willingness to travel and to work abroad (short term).
