Sr. Procurement Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Civil Engineer with strong knowledge of UAE construction projects, particularly villas and high-rise buildings. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, sourcing quality construction materials, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials within the approved budget and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for civil construction materials, including concrete, steel, blocks, cement, waterproofing, tiles, finishing materials, and other building materials.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive prices and favorable payment terms.
• Prepare and review material requisitions, requests for quotations (RFQs), comparative statements, purchase orders, and procurement reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, quantity surveyors, consultants, and the technical team to ensure materials meet project specifications and approved standards.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials for villa and high-rise construction projects in the UAE.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, BOQs, and material submittals before placing purchase orders.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Monitor market prices, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain effective procurement schedules.
• Follow up on material approvals, delivery schedules, quality certificates, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, project requirements, and UAE construction standards.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Senior Procurement Engineer or Procurement Civil Engineer in the UAE construction industry.
• Strong experience in both villa and high-rise building projects.
• Arabic-speaking ability is mandatory, with good English communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of civil construction materials, technical specifications, BOQs, and material approvals.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, cost-control, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement or ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively with project and site teams.

Pay: Up to AED25,000.00 per month
