Sr. Product Development Engineer – Electrical (RF)

Your Job

Molex is seeking an experienced Senior Product Development Engineer – Electrical to play a key role in the development, deployment, and scale-up of Molex's RF Test & Measurement Center of Excellence in Taiwan.

In this role, you will lead the electrical design, simulation, validation, and qualification of RF connectors, cable assemblies, and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) solutions. You will work closely with Mechanical Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, and global RF engineering teams to develop innovative products that meet customer and business requirements.

Copper Solutions (RF Taiwan) What You Will Do

• Lead electrical design and development of RF connectors, cable assemblies, and Test & Measurement products
• Perform RF simulation and optimization using HFSS or equivalent simulation tools
• Define, execute, and analyze electrical validation and qualification plans
• Own Network Analyzer testing and performance characterization activities
• Evaluate RF performance including insertion loss, return loss, impedance matching, and signal integrity
• Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering to optimize designs while balancing electrical and mechanical requirements
• Lead concept development, prototyping, verification, and qualification activities
• Support failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective actions
• Work with global cross-functional teams across design, manufacturing, quality, and product management
• Prepare technical reports, qualification reports, and customer-facing documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to project teams

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• 5-8+ years of experience in RF electrical design, RF testing, or high-frequency product development
• Hands-on experience using Network Analyzers and RF measurement equipment
• Experience with HFSS or similar electromagnetic simulation tools
• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals and transmission line behavior
• Experience validating and troubleshooting RF products
• Ability to communicate effectively with global teams, suppliers, and customers
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
