Sr. Product Engineer

What you'll be doing

1. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and mass production activities to ensure smooth product launch and manufacturing stability
2. Review and prepare Work Instructions (WI), BOM, drawings, engineering documents, and related production documentation
3. Check and validate tooling, jigs, and fixtures for assembly processes
4. Set up, optimize, and control machine parameters to ensure process efficiency and product quality
5. Visit and support production lines for NPI and mass production to monitor product performance and improve yield
6. Troubleshoot product and process issues and implement corrective and preventive actions
7. Coordinate with production, quality, process, and related teams on product improvement activities
8. Support product testing, validation, engineering changes (ECN/ECO), and continuous improvement projects
9. Drive productivity improvement, quality enhancement, and cost-saving initiatives
10. Ensure products meet customer requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing targets
11. Prepare technical reports and maintain engineering documentation
12. Support customer requirements, engineering trials, and audits as required

What we're looking for

1. Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
2. 3 - 5 years of experience in Product Engineer in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) is an advantage
3. Proven experience in product design, development and testing
4. Strong understanding of electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems
5. Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, CAD, SPICE, and simulation tools
6. Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills
7. Strong communication and collaboration abilities
8. Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements
