Job Summary Supermicro is seeking an experienced project manager for ethernet switch products. This role requires a strong switch product knowledge, project development process, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects effectively.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Work with sales/BD/FAE to promote switch products
• Coordinate RD, procurement, and manufacture teams to complete NPI process
• Define product spec, role and responsibilities for customized products with customers
• Travel for customer matters or teamwork
• Presentation, documentation and collect market information
• Work with ODM/CM/SoC vendors to resolve issues including but not limited to quality, volume, shipment, documentation, schedule…
• Find root cause of field issues and implement solutions in time

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skill and a team worker, a responsible person who can work under stress to meet schedule with enthusiasm.
• Creative thinking, work smart, dedicate and motivate team members.
• Multi-language speaker, English is a MUST
• 5+ years in Ethernet switch industry, familiar with kinds of switches
• Knowing well about NPI process to coordinate internal teams
• Experience in working with CM and ODM to complete a product delivery from scratch
• Familiar with RFI/RFP/RFQ processes
• Strong background in networking technology, application and standards, can do trouble shooting is a plus
• Strong background in network product manufacturing is a plus
