Sr. Product Manager (Server-Energy)

Purpose of this Position The position is expected to manage the assigned product line in order to achieve the short & longer-term revenue and profitability goals.

The job holder should focus on the IEC 61850-able computer/server under the Energy industry (e.g. Substation) to define and develop the comprehensive products.

Major Areas of Responsibility

• Product Development (Major responsibilities)

1.1 Collaborate with Leaders to develop & execute the product roadmap and strategy

1.2 Initiate and execute the product development proposal.

1.3 Control the product development schedule and features.

1.4 Coordinate related divisions and resources to meet the product development goals.

1.5 Provide product related documents, including user’s manual, quick installation guide.

1.6 Manage product customization projects.

• Product Marketing

2.1 Propose and execute product and service positioning, pricing, channel, and promotion strategy.

2.2 Propose and execute global product marketing communication activities.

2.3 Initiate and execute global marketing campaigns for assigned product lines, application, and vertical markets.

2.4 Create product marketing communication related material, including whitepaper, datasheet, demo kit and other notification documents

• Product Management

3.1 Coordinate RD, sales and marketing, manufacturing, QA, and customer service resources to grow global customer satisfaction.

3.2 Initiate & execute product phase-in and phase-out activities.

3.3 Initiate & execute product line quality/value improvement and cost down activities.

• Business Development

4.1 Initiate and execute product line global business development activities for specific customer segments, applications, and vertical markets.

4.2 Cultivate product line business in assigned region.

4.3 Coordinate SBU internal support and cooperate with regions’ efforts to increase win rate of customer projects & opportunities.

4.4 Partnered with KAM to be responsible for KA strategy development and achieve business goal

Minimum Job Requirements

• Education: University graduated with EE or other engineering degrees.
• Professional Certificates/Licenses: No specific requirements.
• Experiences: 8+ years of experience in following position;

• Languages: TOEIC 785 level

Required Competencies

• Language: Fluent in Chinese writing/speaking, Good in English reading/writing/listening/speaking.
• Skill set: Familiar with industrial or commercial networking applications. Familiarity of NPDP (New Product Development Procedure) is a plus. Quick learning skills in new technologies and market trends.
• Characteristics: Passionate in coordination and negotiation, high EQ, sales/marketing oriented, enthusiastic in people engagement.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading team level or cross-functional project as well as mentoring/coaching junior staff is a plus.
