Sr Program Manager - Smart Utility

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Program Manager - Smart Utility to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.

This role will lead strategic planning and cross-functional execution for complex utility-related programs that support both customer goals and internal delivery objectives. The ideal candidate will coordinate among external stakeholders and internal teams to keep multiple projects aligned, on track, and within scope. You will also play a key role in budget oversight, risk management, and contract compliance while helping deliver innovative infrastructure solutions that benefit communities.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning to align projects with company and customer goals
• Coordinate between external customers and internal teams for smooth project execution
• Manage budgets and resources across multiple related projects
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project delivery and customer satisfaction
• Oversee contract negotiations and enforce compliance with terms

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of program management experience in a related field
• Proven success managing large public-sector projects with various stakeholders
• Experience with municipal, county, and utility organizations
• Strong background in utility infrastructure and smart technologies
• Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
