About the role

This is a Senior Automation Tester role focused on designing and executing comprehensive test plans on software applications and computer systems, with responsibility for detecting software failures, documenting issues, and coordinating across infrastructure and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans on software applications and computer systems
• Record and document results and compare to expected results
• Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and corrected
• Document issues and maintain them in an issues log
• Work with infra team to setup and operate test environments
• Work with development team to properly plan for code (and code fixes) migration against the progress of test activities
• Analyze project requirements
• Perform a product risk assessment based on requirements
• Identify and analyze risks
• Establish test strategy and complex test approach

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Automation Tester
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automated testing
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in test planning and test design
• Solid experience in manual testing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or managerial QA role, not limited to acting as a sub-lead
• Experience with various software testing methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
