Sr. QA Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a QA Engineer with at least 2 years of experience to help deliver reliable, high-quality software. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to test new features, identify defects, and improve our testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and acceptance criteria to define test scenarios and identify gaps.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web applications and APIs.
• Report defects with clear reproduction steps, expected results, and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate issues and verify fixes.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for critical user journeys.
• Participate in sprint planning and release testing, communicating quality risks and test results.
• Improve test coverage and QA practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of testing methods, defect tracking, and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to translate requirements into comprehensive test cases.
• Experience with Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Basic SQL knowledge for validating application data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage testing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java.
• Experience with Git and automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to performance, accessibility, security, or mobile testing.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
