1. JOB SPECIFICATION

Qualifications

:

• Master’s or PhD degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.

• Formal training in data science, analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence is required.

Experience

:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in a data science, analytics, or research-focused role.
• Demonstrated experience working with large, complex datasets, preferably in healthcare or population health settings.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying machine learning or advanced analytics solutions.
• Prior exposure to healthcare data, clinical workflows, or real-world health system implementation is an advantage.

• Proficiency in programming and analytics tools such as Python, R, and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and modelling.
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques and data mining methods.
• Experience creating intuitive data visualisations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau or Power BI, with an ability to communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of AI and machine learning approaches, including experience with LLMs or agentic AI systems, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (especially AWS) and modern development frameworks (e.g. Streamlit, NextJS, TypeScript).
• Proficiency in RESTful API development using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and commitment to data quality and integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.
