Position Overview

A premier Fortune 500 manufacturing leader is seeking a high-caliber Senior Safety Specialist to join our EHS Management Team. In this role, you will partner closely with the site Safety Manager to drive a culture of zero incidents, ensure regulatory compliance, and execute world-class safety programs. Key Responsibilities

• Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific safety programs and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and corporate standards.
• Leadership & Culture: Serve as a visible safety leader on the manufacturing floor, coaching employees and supervisors on safe work practices.
• Incident Investigation: Lead root-cause analyses for near-misses and incidents, and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Audits & Training: Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and deliver engaging safety training modules to site personnel.
• EHS Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the broader EHS Management Team to drive continuous improvement metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 to 10 years of dedicated safety experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment .
• Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS) preferred in Occupational Safety, EHS, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Core Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a proven track record of influencing positive cultural change.
• Certifications: ASP, CSP, or similar safety certifications are a plus.
