Sr. Sales Engineer

Position: Sales Engineer – Aftermarket & Retail

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering

Job Purpose

To develop sales of hydraulic hoses, tube assemblies, fittings and related products by

understanding customer technical requirements and providing suitable techno-

commercial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop new customers and maintain existing customer relationships.

 Visit customers to understand their hydraulic application and requirements.

 Study RFQs, drawings, BOMs and technical specifications.

 Select suitable hose, tube, fittings and connection specifications based on

pressure, flow, size, material and application.

 Prepare techno-commercial quotations and follow up for order conversion.

 Develop new business opportunities and achieve sales targets.

 Monitor competitor products, pricing and market requirements.

Required Technical Knowledge

 Hydraulic hose and tube selection.

 Hydraulic pressure, flow and basic hydraulic circuits.

 Hose fittings, adapters and connection standards.

 Hose routing and minimum bend radius.

 Tube size, material and wall-thickness selection.

 Basic costing and quotation preparation.

Candidate Requirements

 Mechanical Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech.

 2–5 years of experience in hydraulic hose, tube, fittings, fluid power or related

engineering products.

 Good technical and commercial understanding.

 Good communication and negotiation skills.

 Customer-oriented and strong in follow-up.

 Willing to travel for customer visits.

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
