  • Optimize SCADA system performance, troubleshoot complex technical issues (hardware, software, communication), conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions to minimize downtime and ensure system stability.

  • Lead cross-functional projects (collaborating with engineering, operations, IT, and cybersecurity teams) to deliver SCADA system upgrades, integrations, and expansions on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior SCADA engineers, guiding them in best practices, system design, troubleshooting, and professional development.
  • Monitor SCADA system performance metrics, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, scalability, and user experience.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and provide ongoing SCADA system support.
  • Other tasks assigned by the leader.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in SCADA system design, configuration, implementation, and maintenance in industrial environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SCADA software platforms (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware, Intouch, Citect, WinCC) and hardware (RTUs, PLCs, sensors, communication modules).
  • Experience with SCADA cybersecurity (IEC 62443, NERC CIP) and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, Ethernet/IP, Profinet) is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and quality in all aspects of work.
