Sr. SCRUM Master - Operational Support

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. SCRUM Master - Operational Support to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will guide Agile execution within a 24/7 operational support environment, helping teams stay aligned on incident response, maintenance work, and continuous improvement. You will partner closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and support teams to improve coordination, transparency, and delivery during high-pressure situations. The position also calls for strong facilitation skills to keep operational work moving efficiently while supporting broader program objectives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $128,039 – $173,229 annually

Responsibilities

• Establish operational goals for a 24/7 support team aligned with program objectives.
• Coach the team and Product Owners on Agile practices tailored to incident-driven work.
• Manage stakeholder expectations regarding incident response and maintenance activities.
• Lead coordination during high-severity incidents, ensuring timely communication.
• Facilitate daily standups and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement.
• Maintain visibility of incidents and operational tasks using JIRA and other tools.
• Identify and escalate risks impacting incident resolution and operational performance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Agile development and operations/support environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Framework, Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), and Scrum processes.
• Experience leading or working with a 24/7 production support team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, especially during incidents.
