• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics Experience: 4 + Years in CNC and conventional Machines Maintenance + Utilities Maintenance (Preferably in manufacturing, precision engineering or Machine tool manufacturing industries) Employment type: Full time, permanent Pay Package: Best in the industry Job Purpose: A Senior Engineer in CNC Machine Tool Maintenance (Electrical & Electronics) is responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machine tools' electrical and electronic components, focusing on preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, and system diagnostics to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• This role requires expertise in CNC systems, PLC programming, circuit diagrams, and troubleshooting complex mechatronic systems to minimize downtime and maximize machine lifespan Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing and resolving electrical and electronic issues in CNC machines, including control panels, sensors, servos, and associated components.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Developing and implementing PM plans to prevent failures and ensure the longevity of electrical systems, often involving PLC maintenance.
• Root Cause Analysis: Identifying and addressing the underlying causes of both electrical and electronic problems to prevent recurrence and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
• Systems Monitoring: Monitoring the performance of electrical and electronic systems within the CNC machines.
• Maintenance Planning: Participating in the planning and execution of maintenance activities, including the procurement of spare parts.
• Documentation: Understanding and utilizing circuit diagrams, ladder diagrams, and CNC parameters for effective maintenance.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of CNC machine electrical and electronic systems, including Fanuc and Siemens controls.

• PLC Programming: Proficiency in PLC programming and understanding of logic, particularly with Simatic S5 and S7 platforms.

• Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues in mechatronic systems.

• Maintenance Strategy: Experience in developing and implementing preventive and breakdown maintenance strategies.

• Safety Practices: Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices.

• Mechatronics: A comprehensive understanding of how electrical, electronic, and mechanical subsystems interact within a CNC machine.
