Focus:

• Establish architectural direction for software capabilities supporting complex supply chain operations, emphasizing scalability, resilience, and long-term adaptability.
• Develop modernization strategies that connect technology investments with evolving operational priorities and long-term business goals.
• Guide architecture across applications, services, integrations, data flows, and cloud infrastructure while identifying opportunities to simplify the technology ecosystem.
• Partner with engineering, product, and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives into executable roadmaps and create alignment across teams and platforms.
• Evaluate architecture alternatives, clearly communicating technical tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to engineering teams and senior decision-makers.
• Identify cross-platform technology risks and champion architecture approaches that strengthen reliability, maintainability, and operational performance.
• Advance engineering capabilities through technical mentorship, knowledge sharing, and evaluation of emerging technologies and modern software delivery practices.

Skill Set:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including several years providing architecture leadership for large-scale technology environments.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architecture and distributed systems, including microservices, event-driven designs, and container orchestration.
• Strong hands-on software development experience using modern technology stacks and practices, including APIs, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Demonstrated success leading significant technical initiatives and aligning multiple engineering teams or platforms around a shared architecture vision.
• Strong systems-thinking capabilities with experience selecting effective interaction and integration patterns across complex business capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and mentor technical teams within matrixed organizations.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience with supply chain technology environments, SAP, or other large-scale ERP platforms is a plus.
