Sr. Software Developer

We are seeking a full time highly skilled .NET, VB.net, C#, MS SQL Developer to support our desktop application development initiatives. The successful candidate will design, code, and test application software using .NET as the front-end development tool and SQL Server as the back-end database. This role will also provide technical support for custom development, database programming, performance monitoring, and knowledge transfer in core development technologies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 7+ years of professional experience in application development using .NET technologies.

• Strong programming skills in VB.net, ASP.NET (C#), HTML, CSS, XML, and Visual Studio .NET.

• Proficiency with MS SQL Server database development, including stored procedures, triggers, indexing, and performance optimization.

• Experience with API development and integration.

• Familiarity with Crystal Reports and Power BI is a plus.

• Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) and proficiency in using GitHub for visual studio.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Design, code, and test application software using .NET technologies with SQL Server as the backend database.

• Proficient in C# and VB.NET programming languages and extensive working knowledge of .NET languages

• Create, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures in MS SQL Server.

• Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and internal teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

• Develop and integrate APIs to support seamless data exchange between systems.

• Implement performance monitoring and tuning practices for database and application components.

• Work closely with client teams to create and test applications across multiple environments.

• Support Crystal Reports and Power BI report development. Crystal Reports experience is a plus!

• Provide knowledge transfer and technical guidance to client staff on .NET and SQL Server development practices.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and troubleshooting of application issues.
