About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Developer with strong hands-on experience in Qualitative Research Platforms and technologies.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of advanced software development expertise and deep knowledge of qualitative market research workflows and technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, integrating, and supporting technology platforms used for In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), Focus Groups, Online Communities, Discussion Boards, and AI-enabled qualitative research.

This is a 3–6 month contract opportunity suited to a highly experienced developer who can work independently, quickly understand research technology requirements, and deliver reliable, scalable solutions within tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support technology solutions for IDIs, Focus Groups, Online Communities, Discussion Boards, and AI Moderation.
• Develop and enhance qualitative research platforms based on business and research requirements.
• Translate complex research and business requirements into scalable and efficient technical solutions.
• Design and implement APIs, integrations, and third-party technology solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Research, Product, Technology, and Business teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve platform performance, scalability, functionality, and usability.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled initiatives across qualitative research workflows.
• Support ongoing platform integrations, enhancements, and technical improvements based on evolving research requirements.
• Independently manage deliverables and priorities while working within short contractual timelines.
• Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business and research needs.

Must-Have Experience

• Proven hands-on experience designing, developing, or supporting Qualitative Research Platforms.
• Strong understanding of In-Depth Interviews (IDIs), Focus Groups, Online Communities, and Discussion Boards.
• Practical experience with AI Moderation or AI-enabled qualitative research solutions.
• Strong software development, system architecture, and technical design capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with API development and third-party integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, optimization, and platform performance skills.
• Market Research / Qualitative Research Technology experience is mandatory.
• Ability to understand complex requirements and independently translate them into technical solutions.
• Proven ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions within short timelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with North American clients or research markets.
• Experience integrating multiple research, technology, and AI platforms.
• Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven or research-technology environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
