Sr Software Developer Engineer in Test

We are looking for an enthusiastic Test Engineer to work at the forefront of our cloud modernisation, within our Credit Verification Services. This is a hybrid role requiring travelling to Hyderabad office circa 40% days per month.

Role Context:

Were predominantly a .NET focused engineering team, building modern, cloud-native applications using the latest in .NET 8+. All new services are developed with a forward-looking mindset, and we actively evaluate emerging features and tools to continuously improve our engineering practices.

Our architecture is built on Kubernetes (EKS), enabling us to run scalable, resilient microservices in the cloud. On top of this, we leverage a wide range of AWS services (Lambda, Kinesis, Dynamo and RDS to name just a few), to enhance performance, observability, and integration across our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test scripts based on business requirements.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks for UI, API, and backend testing.

• Create and maintain test data, test environments, and automation scripts.

• Perform various types of testing: White Box testing, Black Box testing, Integration testing,UI testing, API Testing Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a quality engineering, software testing, or test automation.

• Experience with SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum processes.

• You will work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

• Passion for quality, learning new technologies, and continuous improvement.

• Hands-on experience with UI, API automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, REST-assured or Postman.

• Proficiency in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) approaches.

• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.

• Experience in at least one programming/scripting language: Java, Scala, Python, or JavaScript.

• Basic understanding of Containers (Docker) and CI/CD processes.

• Experience with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket, GitHub or Gitlab.

• Working knowledge of API testing, backend validations, and functional automation.

• You will report to manager.
