🚀 Hiring: Senior Software Engineer – Command & Control (C2)

I’m partnering with a growing space technology company that is transforming how satellite fleets are operated. We’re searching for a Senior Software Engineer to develop the backend Command & Control software connecting its platform to a wide variety of spacecraft.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in machine-to-machine communications, complex systems integration, or software that communicates with remote hardware. Prior space industry experience is valuable—but not required.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience

• Strong Python and/or Rust development skills

• Experience with embedded systems, distributed systems, networking, telecommunications, robotics, IoT, industrial automation, or similar hardware/software systems

• Knowledge of communication protocols, binary serialization, packetization, message routing, error handling, or state management

• Experience taking an interface or protocol specification through implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and production

• Satellite C2 standards such as CCSDS, CSP, CFDP, XTCE, or MIB are advantageous, but not essential

• Kubernetes, DevSecOps, relational databases, or time-series database experience is a plus

The role involves creating scalable integrations that allow different spacecraft, protocols, and missions to communicate reliably with one unified platform.
