Sr. Software Engineer, Geometric Modeling/CAD

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Geometric Modeling/CAD to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will focus on building and improving the geometric modeling capabilities that support a sophisticated software platform. You will develop algorithmic solutions for complex modeling challenges while partnering closely with product and customer-facing teams to refine product behavior. The position also calls for thoughtful attention to code quality, edge cases, and mentoring to help raise the standard of engineering across the team.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Conceive and implement algorithmic solutions for geometric modeling
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and customer success teams to define product behavior
• Identify and address gaps in existing product offerings
• Write rigorous tests to ensure code handles edge cases
• Mentor junior developers to enhance code quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in CAD or geometric modeling
• Familiarity with geometric modeling concepts like meshes, BReps, NURBS, and BSPs
• Ability to navigate a TypeScript + React codebase
• Strong understanding of modern development tools, including AI-assisted workflows
• Excellent communication skills within a dynamic environment
• Interest in the homebuilding industry and its advancements
