Sr Software Engineer II - Ads Manager (Front End)

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Software Engineer II - Ads Manager (Front End) to join the team of a leader in the Consumer Technology space.

This role will own the architecture and technical direction for a web-based campaign management experience, with a strong focus on building scalable front-end systems. You will partner closely with backend engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performing user interfaces that support business growth. The work will also include driving modernization, reducing technical debt, and improving engineering practices across the frontend stack.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $196,000 – $207,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical roadmap and architecture for the web applications supporting campaign management
• Design, build, and maintain high-quality React user interfaces
• Define and evolve shared components to improve maintainability and extensibility
• Collaborate with backend teams on robust API and data contracts
• Champion performance and reliability metrics for the web experience
• Drive modernization efforts and address technical debt within the frontend architecture
• Mentor engineers, improve onboarding practices, and resolve execution issues across teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building modern web applications with ownership of complex products
• Deep expertise in Node.js and React, including state management and performance tuning
• Strong frontend architecture skills, including routing and error handling
• Experience designing and integrating with REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Proven track record of leading large, cross-stakeholder projects from design to rollout
• Demonstrated improvements in team productivity and code quality through tooling and CI enhancements
• Experience with web app monitoring and observability tools
