Sr. Software Engineer, Infrastructure (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Infrastructure to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on improving the systems and tooling that support software delivery, with an emphasis on scalable infrastructure and developer productivity. You will partner closely with development teams to streamline CI/CD workflows, remove bottlenecks, and strengthen the overall software delivery lifecycle. The position also involves hands-on work with automation, cloud services, and operational reliability in a fast-moving technical environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $215,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Enhance CI/CD systems to improve software delivery efficiency
• Develop and maintain critical pipelines using Temporal and Argo Workflows
• Research and implement innovative tooling solutions for developer productivity
• Design integration strategies for new tools in the development environment
• Collaborate with development teams to identify bottlenecks and gather requirements
• Ensure adherence to best practices for sustainability and security
• Engage with cross-functional teams to improve SDLC and CI/CD practices
• Participate in on-call rotation for CI/CD system operations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering
• Extensive experience in Golang
• Strong experience in TypeScript/JavaScript
• Deep understanding of SDLC and CI/CD best practices
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Argo Workflows and Jenkins
• Proficient with Linux and cloud computing services
• Experience utilizing AI technologies for workflow enhancement
