Graystone is strategically partnered with an innovative, venture-backed-style technology company transforming how real estate investors identify, acquire, and sell distressed properties.

The company is building an AI-driven marketplace that connects buyers and sellers, automates complex real estate transactions, and dramatically simplifies the investment process.

We are searching for a Senior Software Engineer who is truly AI-native in how they build software.

This isn't a traditional engineering role where AI is simply another tool in the development process. The engineering organization is embracing an agentic-first approach, leveraging autonomous AI agents, custom development tooling, and modern software engineering practices to build and ship products faster.

You'll join a small, highly capable engineering team where your contributions will directly influence the product, architecture, and technical direction of the company.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, build, and scale a modern real estate investment platform that uses AI to connect buyers, sellers, and investment opportunities.
• Leverage AI coding agents and agentic development workflows as a core part of your daily engineering process.
• Develop full-stack applications using React, Node.js, and TypeScript .
• Architect and implement scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations within AWS.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and modern data architectures to support a data-intensive marketplace.
• Help modernize existing applications and migrate legacy PHP functionality into a modern technology stack.
• Contribute to AI-powered automation, intelligent matching systems, and autonomous workflows across the platform.
• Collaborate directly with engineering leadership to make architectural decisions and establish development best practices.
• Take ownership of features and products from initial concept through production deployment.
• Continuously experiment with emerging AI technologies, development frameworks, and automation tools.

What We're Looking For

AI-Native Engineering Mindset

• You actively use AI agents to accelerate and improve software development.
• You have hands-on experience with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or comparable platforms.
• You understand how to structure, orchestrate, and validate AI-generated code rather than simply accepting its output.
• You're constantly exploring new ways to incorporate AI into your engineering workflows.
• You believe the future of software development will be fundamentally different because of AI, and you're already building that way.

Strong Full-Stack Engineering Background

• Significant professional experience designing and building production-grade software applications.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Node.js .
• Experience building and scaling cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, APIs, performance, and security.
• Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions in a fast-moving environment.
