Job Summary

This job delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). It involves advising management on project-level issues, guiding junior engineers, operating with little supervision, and applying knowledge of technical best practices.

Essential Responsibilities

• Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles.
• Advises immediate management on project-level issues
• Guides junior engineers
• Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices
• Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

What you need to bring

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and a bachelor s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Go, with a track record of writing clean, testable, production-grade code, backed by a solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience building and operating workloads on a major cloud platform (GCP or AWS).
• Experience building backend services and REST APIs in Python or Go, with a solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database design and ORM tools.
• Experience designing scalable, reliable, and secure services using CI/CD pipelines, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews and design discussions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional-level cloud certification in GCP or AWS (e.g., Google Professional Cloud Architect / DevOps Engineer, or AWS Solutions Architect Professional / DevOps Engineer Professional), along with hands-on experience building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks and tooling such as Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK, or Crossplane.
• Full-stack experience with a modern frontend framework (e.g., React or TypeScript) to build developer portals, dashboards, or self-service tools for an internal developer platform.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-region systems, policy-as-code and security/compliance frameworks (e.g., OPA, SOC 2, PCI DSS), or using Gen AI to accelerate infrastructure automation.
