Job Role
We’re looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer (SDE-3) - Security to join our Engineering team in Gurgaon. You’ll help build security into every stage of our products and infrastructure, from design through deployment. You’ll run vulnerability assessments, automate security processes, and work with engineering teams to protect our users’ money and data. Hands-on experience with ethical hacking, open-source security tooling, and cloud security will be essential.

What You Will Do

• Work with software engineering teams to define application, infrastructure, and deployment security requirements.
• Take part in architecture discussions and recommend security best practices during design.
• Maintain a vulnerability management program and assess applications, public cloud, and data systems for security risks.
• Design and build solutions that automate security processes and reduce manual work.
• Design and implement perimeter security (WAF, bot mitigation), application security (SAST, DAST), cloud security, and threat detection and response.
• Support compliance and regulatory requirements and audits.
• Work with third parties and partners to strengthen information security governance and compliance.

What We’re Looking For

• Hands-on experience with ethical hacking and countermeasures.
• Proven experience using open-source technology for security.
• Exposure to public cloud environments (AWS, GCP) and their security controls.
• Working knowledge of Linux operating systems.
• Experience with scripting in Python or shell.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably B.Tech.
• Experience in technology, preferably in fintech, banking, gaming, e-commerce, or edtech.

Nice to have:

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience implementing SAST or DAST tooling.
• Experience with security monitoring and log analysis, such as ELK.
• Experience with perimeter security technologies such as WAF or IPS/IDS.
