Job Description: We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to provide technical leadership for the development and modernization of a large-scale digital platform. The candidate will work closely with Business, Product, Architecture, Security, and Technology teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality digital solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor multiple software engineering teams and developers.
• Partner with Product, Business, and Technology teams to define priorities and technical roadmaps.
• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for application architecture, APIs, integrations, and platform modernization.
• Establish software development standards, best practices, and engineering processes.
• Drive DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, Agile development, and operational excellence.
• Ensure application quality, reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead development of digital platforms and customer/advisor-facing applications.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Business teams.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, and complex enterprise technology initiatives.
• Work with internal teams, external partners, and offshore development teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 14+ years of software engineering/development experience.
• 10+ years of engineering leadership or large-scale technology delivery experience.
• 10+ years of experience in financial services, banking, wealth management, brokerage, or another regulated industry.
• Strong experience with cloud-based and distributed enterprise applications.
• Experience with application architecture, APIs, integrations, and platform modernization.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps, CI/CD, Agile, and modern software engineering practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or equivalent certification.
• Experience with AWS or other major cloud platforms.
• Experience leading digital platforms or customer-facing applications.
• Experience with technology modernization and solution architecture.
• Experience with Agile/Scaled Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Aha!, Miro, or Smartsheet.
• Financial services or wealth management technology experience is highly preferred.
