What they need
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of software QA, verification, and testing experience, preferably in embedded, aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or other mission-/safety-critical systems.
- Strong experience in Software Verification & Validation (V&V), including unit, integration, system, acceptance, regression, and requirements-based testing.
- Hands-on experience with SIL/HIL testing, embedded/real-time software, hardware/software integration, and automated test environments.
- Experience developing automated test frameworks and test scripts using Python and/or C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with static and dynamic analysis, coding-standard compliance, runtime analysis, and defect/root-cause investigation.
- Experience with code coverage analysis, including statement, branch, decision, condition, and MC/DC coverage.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as LDRA, VectorCAST, Cantata, Polyspace, Coverity, Cppcheck, GoogleTest, pytest, or equivalent.
- Experience creating and executing Software Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Procedures, Test Reports, coverage reports, and verification evidence.
- Experience with requirements traceability, linking requirements to test cases, test execution, defects, and verification results.
- Familiarity with DO-178C, ECSS-Q-ST-80, NASA software assurance, or equivalent software quality/verification standards.
- Experience with CI/CD-based automated testing and regression testing.
- Familiarity with Git, defect tracking, requirements/test management, and CI/CD tools.
- Experience analyzing test logs, telemetry, execution traces, packet captures, and hardware/software interface data.
- Hands-on debugging experience using tools such as GDB, Lauterbach TRACE32, JTAG/SWD, Wireshark, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of satellite/spacecraft software, flight software, FDIR, telemetry/telecommand, or space-grade electronics is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical, documentation, reporting, and communication skills
