Sr. Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester / Software Tester to join our Quality Assurance team and ensure the quality, reliability, performance, and scalability of our CPaaS products and communication services.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, with an understanding of communication technologies such as SMS, Voice, WhatsApp, OTP, IVR, Webhooks, APIs, and messaging platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Functional testing of SMS and RCS modules
• API testing for all available endpoints
• Regression testing after new development or bug fixes
• Campaign creation and complete message flow testing
• DLT, Template, Sender ID, Entity ID, and validation testing
• RCS delivery, DLR, engagement, fallback, and failure scenario testing
• UI, responsive, and cross-browser testing
• Reporting and data accuracy verification
• Negative and boundary-condition testing
• Identifying issues before production deployment
• Maintaining test cases, bug reports, and release checklists

Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 2–3 years in Software Testing / Quality Assurance
• Strong experience in Web Application Testing
• Good knowledge of API Testing, preferably using Postman or similar tools
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP status codes, JSON requests/responses, authentication, and validations
• Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, Negative, and End-to-End Testing
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server / SQL queries to validate backend data and reports
• Ability to analyze application logs, API responses, and database records while troubleshooting issues
• Good understanding of browser developer tools and network requests
• Experience in preparing test cases, test scenarios, bug reports, and test execution reports
• Ability to reproduce issues clearly and coordinate effectively with developers
• Basic understanding of messaging platforms such as SMS, RCS, WhatsApp, SMPP, DLR, Campaigns, Templates, and DLT will be an added advantage
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks will also be an added advantage
• Candidate should have good analytical skills and should be capable of testing both customer-facing and admin-side functionality

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
