Position Description

We are looking for a Sr Solution Architect to join our IT department for the front business Market Connectivity team in Hong Kong.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

• As part of the development delivery team, work very closely with business users, and other front office development and support teams to develop our Market Connectivity platform
• Task planning, collect and handle requests from various parties
• Continuously review and provide recommendation to improve the system
• Liaise with other development teams to agree and document design of interrelated functions
• Conduct code review and provide guidance to other team members
• Unit testing, functional testing of the developed code
• Responsible for timely and quality delivery of software solutions
• Ensure full compliance to the firm's and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or related field.
• 5-8 years of related technical experience in banking systems
• Knowledge of WPF would be a plus
• Knowledge of OMS/EMS/Cash Equities concepts would be a plus
• Experience in C# development
• Exposure to software engineering tools/applications (like Git, JIRA)
• Familiarity with Agile development processes and techniques
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory, Chinese speaking will be of advantage
