Sr. Solution Architect/Solutions & Systems Support

• Plan and oversees the technical requirements from end users for network and services performance analysis functions.
• Plan and assist in preparing automation use cases to build Autonomous Operations and Planning functions.
• Assist in deploying charts and dashboards required to evaluate the network and services and continue developing and improving processes to report QoS measures and resolve network and service affecting issues.
• Plan the design architecture for the performance and network monitoring solutions.
• Plan the data structure and modelling required to build business use cases.
• Provides professional guidance and support to subordinates in carrying out the assigned functions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of reports for Mobile, Core network, Fixed network and related services. Identify opportunities for improvement in existing reports, support other team in the reporting requirements.
• Assist in developing network and performance KPI’s and detailed analysis as requested by end users
• Develop processes for fault analysis and alarm generation
• Oversees the analysis and testing of the equipment of various vendors and checks the quality, compatibility and reliability of their equipment.
• Manages requirements form end users of network and service monitoring and related reports.
• Propose new tools, solutions to evaluate network and services performance
• Assists SD/D in the annual network planning and budgeting process.
• Ensures the development of policies, procedures, guidelines, standards and operating practices in respect of network/ service quality across the entire Engineering Department.
• Builds up and maintains relationships to suppliers, contractors, vendors & consultants and follows up as required.
• Keeps abreast of best practice processes, governance frameworks, ISO standard requirements and new developments in the network/ service quality area.
• Identifies training needs of subordinates to ensure enhancement of skills.
• Bears overall responsibility for the obtainment of approvals for procurement of equipment.
• Compiles and presents technical/ operational reports for superiors, as required.
• Monitors CWP/ project progress and identifies bottlenecks to find appropriate solutions to overcome problem areas.

Qualifications

• Unix, Linux, Mobile network planning, Mobile core network operations, telecom network (5G, 4G, 3G, 2G) interfaces and protocols and architecture, GSMA standards, mobile service testing, Roaming services IREG testing, project planning and execution.
