Sr. SRE Engineer

Job Title: Sr. SRE Engineer with GCP Location: Mexico (Remote) The SRE Engineer will improve the reliability, observability, deployment safety, and operational readiness of cloud-native e-commerce services.

Required Qualifications

• Experience with a cloud platform such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience supporting Kubernetes workloads in production.
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Terraform or another Infrastructure as Code tool.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, incident response, and production troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Bash, or another automation language.
• Experience supporting highly available production systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across engineering teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with GCP and GKE.
• Experience with GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Cloud Monitoring, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Experience with Istio or another service mesh.
• Experience with Apigee or another API gateway.
• Understanding of SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and incident-management practices.
• Experience with canary, blue/green, or progressive delivery strategies.
