We’re Hiring: Sr. Staff Engineer – Data Analytics

We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Staff Engineer – Data Analytics to help build and scale trusted analytical data products, reusable data models, and semantic foundations that support business decision-making and customer reporting.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of analytics engineering, data architecture, and software engineering .

What You’ll Do

• Design and build production-grade analytical models using dbt and Databricks
• Develop scalable Gold-layer, dimensional, and domain-oriented data models
• Design and evolve enterprise semantic models, metrics, dimensions, and KPIs
• Build reusable data products supporting reporting, analytics, and self-service BI
• Partner with business, analytics, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Develop automation using Python, SQL, and scripting
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and production support
• Establish engineering standards and provide technical mentorship across data teams

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI, or a related field
• Advanced SQL and strong analytical data-modeling experience
• Production experience with dbt
• Strong hands-on Databricks experience, including Delta Lake / Lakehouse architecture
• Experience with Tableau or comparable BI platforms
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, Gold-layer architecture, semantic modeling, metrics, and data governance
• Strong Python and automation/scripting experience
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews
• Experience building reusable data products , not just individual reports or dashboards

Ideal Profile

Someone who can comfortably move between Databricks optimization, dbt transformations, Python debugging, enterprise semantic modeling, and business stakeholder conversations .
