Sr. Structural Engineer - Offshore

About the role : -

• To perform the structural engineering activities for fixed offshore platforms (jackets, topsides, and associated structures), ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective design, integrity assessment, and lifecycle support.

Responsibilities : -

• Perform structural design and analysis of jacket substructures, piles, topside modules, and associated steel structures
• Perform and review in-place, fatigue, seismic, dropped-object, and boat-impact analyses in accordance with API RP 2A, ISO 19902, and classification society standards
• Conduct structural integrity assessments for life extension, re-qualification, or modification of existing platforms
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to structural engineers and designers
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (geotechnical, process, naval architecture, installation)
• Review fabrication, installation, and as-built drawings for structural compliance
• Support offshore campaigns, hook-up, and commissioning activities as required
• Ensure adherence to client specifications, project schedules, and HSE requirements
• Prepare technical reports, calculation packages, and engineering deliverables for client and regulatory review

Candidate requirements : -

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil, Structural, or Marine/Offshore Engineering
• 7+ years of experience in offshore structural engineering, with a strong focus on fixed platforms
• Proficiency in SACS, STAAD. Pro, ANSYS, or equivalent analysis software
• Strong knowledge of API, ISO, DNV, and other relevant offshore design codes
• Proven track record of executing the structural scopes on EPC or brownfield offshore projects
