Experience

3-7 years of relevant experience in Software Development, Platform Development, Systems Engineering, or Automation Engineering.

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Software / Platform Developer with strong experience in RHEL/Linux, Shell scripting, Python scripting, Platform Security, Security Compliance, Jenkins, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

The candidate will develop platform-level software and automation, support secure and compliant RHEL environments, integrate solutions with CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshoot complex platform and deployment issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain platform software, utilities, and automation for RHEL/Linux environments.

  • Develop Shell, Python scripts for configuration, deployment, validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

    • Develop automation for platform security and security compliance validation.

      • Validate RHEL security configurations, hardening, access controls, vulnerabilities, and compliance requirements.

        • Integrate development and automation solutions with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

          • Work with Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes for development, deployment, and troubleshooting.

            • Develop reusable, maintainable, and secure automation components.

              • Troubleshoot RHEL, security, CI/CD, container, and deployment issues.

                • Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, Security, Architecture, and Product teams.

                  • Participate in code reviews and follow development, security, and coding best practices.

                    • Use Cursor, Claude, Gemini, and other AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and productivity.

                      • Continuously improve platform reliability, automation, security, compliance, and operational efficiency.

                        Required Skills

                        RHEL / Platform

                        • Strong hands-on experience with RHEL/Linux.

                          • Good understanding of Linux configuration, processes, services, networking, permissions, logs, and troubleshooting.

                            • Strong Shell, Python scripting skills.

                              Platform Security Compliance

                              • Good understanding of RHEL/Linux platform security and security hardening.

                                • Experience with secure configuration and security control validation.

                                  • Understanding of authentication, authorization, permissions, certificates, and system security.

                                    • Understanding of security compliance requirements and compliance validation.

                                      • Experience automating security/compliance checks is preferred.

                                        • Basic understanding of vulnerabilities, security findings, and remediation.

                                          CI/CD

                                          • Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.

                                            • Experience automating build, deployment, validation, and execution workflows.

                                              • Working knowledge of Git.

                                                Cloud Containers

                                                • Working knowledge of Azure.

                                                  • Hands-on/working experience with Docker.

                                                    • Working knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s).

                                                      • Understanding of containerized and cloud-native environments.

                                                        AI-Assisted Development

                                                        • Practical experience with Cursor, Claude, Gemini, or similar AI coding tools.

                                                          • Ability to use AI for code generation, debugging, refactoring, testing, and documentation.

                                                            • Ability to review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and quality.

                                                              Optional Skills

                                                              • Programming experience in C++ or Java.

                                                                • Experience developing Linux/system-level applications or utilities.

                                                                  • REST API development or automation.

                                                                    • Knowledge of microservices and cloud-native applications.

                                                                      • Experience with OpenShift.

                                                                        • Experience with security/compliance automation tools.

                                                                          Candidate Profile

                                                                          • Hands-on and self-driven developer with strong RHEL/Linux and Shell, Python scripting skills.

                                                                            • Good understanding of platform security and security compliance.

                                                                              • Comfortable working across Jenkins, Azure, Docker, and Kubernetes.

                                                                                • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

                                                                                  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adopt AI-assisted development practices.**
