Sr. Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) Design Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and qualification of power supply products. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in power electronics, circuit simulation, R&D, and failure analysis, and can collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, quality, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and qualify switch-mode power supplies, including circuit schematics, mechanical packaging, and PCB layouts.
• Conduct circuit prototyping, tuning, power-up testing, and performance verification against design specifications.
• Perform Design Verification Testing (DVT), circuit simulations, tolerance analysis, and failure analysis.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring component cost-effectiveness, quality, qualification, and availability from multiple suppliers.
• Generate accurate test reports, technical documentation, and controlled engineering documents.
• Plan and organize project activities, monitor deliverables, and coordinate with cross-functional support teams.
• Participate in project meetings, technical discussions, and design reviews.
• Provide engineering support to safety, quality assurance, and customer-related activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in switch-mode power supply design, research and development, and product development using simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of circuit operation, power electronics, and failure analysis.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.

Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php90,000.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
